Lionel 33 Electric Loco Repainted Green Standard Gauge X6654

Description

Center-cab electric NYC Lines 10” loco, originally made early 1920’s has been repainted a medium-dark green, has red and gold trim, gold stamped lettering. Red is brighter than original, stamped lettering is fine. It has some very minor roof dings, some texture to finish, otherwise looks fine for layout use. Couplers and strap headlight are replacements, a couple of spots on wheel-flanges look repaired. Frame and steps have been painted silver. It is rewired, pick-up-slide is hand-made and is too high, preventing wheels from full contact with rails. Pick-up slide will need to be replaced. It was bench-tested and 1-way motor ran a bit rough, cleaning and lube should help. Loco sold as is, no operation warranty, near 100 years old.
