  • Condition: This Ives Standard Gauge No. 3235R set comes with a No. 184 Club Car, (2) No. 185 Parlor Car and a No. 186 Observation Car. All appear to have been repainted. The engine is unique in where the direction control is located in the front. I don’t know if this was an Ives prototype or if the locomotive was modified. The engine runs and the cars light up. The pantograph is also unique compared to other similar aged Ives locomotives. I acquired this set as part of a larger collection and I’m not a “prewar” guy. I don’t have much knowledge of Ives trains so the pictures will serve as an accurate depiction of the set and it’s condition. The prior owner was a collector for many decades and had many Standard Gauge sets. Please ask if you want additional pictures and I’d be happy to send them. The interiors of the cars appear to be complete and the inside appears to be the original red paint. This set is being sold “as is”.
