Three steel bands surround the shell, providing added durability, and accentuating the beauty of this traditional instrument. Equipped with a genuine calfskin head, the 30″ tall, extra-wide belly projects deep bass tones and great volume without sacrificing crisp, high sounds. The Tumba features brushed-chrome plated Classic Pro™ hoops, reinforced side plates with 3/8″ diameter tuning lugs and backing plates.
